The Aurora ring is a unique handmade piece of art set with a natural 'Cornflake; pearl. This ring is inspired by the story of Hypatia of Alexandria and is a bold statement piece for the women of today. Cornflake pearls’ irregular appearance is celebrated as no two pearls look the same making them unique to the wearer. The piece is named after the natural phenomenon of aurora borealis, candy-colored explosions that take place in the Northern Hemisphere. This ring is a homage to the mystical beauty of the night sky that Hypatia celebrated and spent her life trying to decipher.
Note: Cornflake pearls are freshwater pearls and no two look exactly the same, which makes each piece form unique to accommodate the pearl and accentuates the beauty of the ring.
